Catharine Steffens earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from the University of Southern California. She has also completed a post-baccalaureate program at California State University, Long Beach in education with a specialization in Chicano Studies. She holds an Arizona State Teaching Certificate for grades K-12 with a Spanish Bilingual endorsement. In 2007 she received a Masters degree in Spanish from Arizona State University. Catharine began teaching in the early 80’s and has taught in California, Arizona and Madrid, Spain where she lived for four years after graduating from college. She is married and has three children. Catharine teaches Spanish II and III at Brophy and is the moderator for Spanish Honor Society. |
