Mrs. Kauffman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree at the University of North Dakota. Mrs. Kauffman has taught for 30 years which includes Scottsdale, Xavier College Preparatory, and Deer Valley High School. She worked two years as a curriculum specialist for the Deer Valley Unified School District. She has also taught at the university level. Mrs. Kauffman has been a member of the Brophy faculty since 1997. Mrs. Kauffman is also co-moderator for the magazine formerly known as The Tower.
