Javier Meléndez is a 1985 graduate of Brophy. He earned a B.A in physics from the University of Chicago and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Science Education from Arizona State University. Mr. Meléndez taught physics and math for fifteen years in Phoenix public high schools before coming to Brophy in 2007. He is a National Board Certified teacher in science for adolescents and young adults. Learning and teaching physics is one of his passions. |
