Mr. Olson received his Bachelor of Music from Houghton
College, and a Master of Music at Eastman School of Music in Rochester,
NY. He completed his coursework for a PhD at Texas Tech University
in Lubbock, Texas and was a Devitt-Jones Scholar. He has 16 years
of college/university teaching experience, most recently as Director
of Choral Activities at Grand Canyon University (Phoenix).
Mr. Olson has performed as a tenor soloist with symphony
orchestras including Dallas Symphony(TX), Austin Symphony(TX),
Flagstaff Symphony(AZ), Phoenix Bach Choir(AZ), Missoula Symphony(MT),
Midland-Odessa Symphony(TX); as a Guest Conductor/Clinician at several
High Schools, Universities, and Choral Festivals.
Mr. Olson is married and has three boys.
