Robin Freed completed her Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Spanish from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and received her MA in English and American Studies at the University of Virginia. Her multimedia MA thesis examined how the film Fight Club situates itself within a postmodern paradigm. Her professional experience in higher education began as an admissions counselor for Vanderbilt University and continued at Georgetown University where she worked as a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions for five years. Robin estimates that in her 7 years in college admissions she read over 9,000 applications. |
