Mr. Tommy Smith was born and raised in La Canada, CA. After attending Loyola High School in Los Angeles, he went on to Santa Clara University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and minored in theology and history. He has been a member of the teaching faculty at Brophy since 1999. Mr. Smith teaches television/film production, and is an assistant coach for freshmen football. He is the coordinator for the Summer Loyola Project, and moderates the Independent Film Club. When he is not teaching, Mr. Smith enjoys playing golf and traveling. He is married to Shannon, who is also in education as a teacher at Villa Montessori, and they are the proud parents of four children, Clare, Grace, Reilly, and Maggie. Office hours are Tuesday and Thursday at lunch, and after school by appointment. |
